Default Profession Recipes

the good: trainers offer recipes that do help level.
the bad: rep grinding for recipes.
the ugly: Ulduar recipes only drop on hard modes or cost stupid amounts of gold in AH.

the good: borean leather is vastily available.
the bad: eternals/crystals are pretty available as well.
the ugly: arctic fur's drop rate!

the good: ToC recipes drop off of 25m
the bad: can win a roll to get one.
the ugly: they cost even more then the Ulduar ones in the AH!

How are all of you getting recipes for your crafts? Do you even bother? Do you troll the AH for that once in a moment deal?

As far as "high level" things go, I have all of the recipes from Dal (thank the WoW gods I did that before the arctic fur drop rate hit the floor). I did get 1 recipe the other day from ToC25, but it was more by default (not complaining) as I managed to be the only LW in group (not sure what those odds are). I don't have any Ulduar recipes as no one really wants/cares about doing the hard modes to even have a chance at them. It is run it quick for an hour, hour and a half then go do something else.

Now rumor has it that you will be able to get/purchase more recipes in Patch 3.3, but is that just a PTR thing or is that true once it would go live? Also, just what will you use to purchase them? Leather was cool for the Dalaran stuff, but now that fur drop rate sucks or AH price for them is worse than the drop rate I can't see too many people using them as "currency" before other things.

How do you all feel about recipes?
